Question BB 440 and a Dart/Duster swap

Do you really need the K-member for the swap or is there another way around that?.

You can use Schumacker motor mounts & relieve the inner edge of the K frame for clearance. It's a tight fit must use an electric fan

I used a 6 K frame and fabbed my mounts, Hooker fenderwell headers and I think a C body oil pan.

I was told the K-member for A-bodies for the 440 swap are very rare and expensive if you find one.

Wonder if the ears on the block get broken off because of no limiters used-no front plate used.

Once again in my f body I used solid fabbed mounts but I am now considering using a plate front mount.
