Mounting issues.

Hey guys, im new here, but having some issues fitting my 440ci into a 72' Valiant regal coupe. It appears the engine wants to be forward about another two inches to meet up with the mounts, even with this particular "mounting kit" from Australia. From this i can sort of come to the conclusion the gearbox crossmember is wrong and the engine does in fact want to come forward two inches? Anyone else had similar issues?
