69 RR Windshield Wiper Motor ........................

Hi Everyone out there in MOPAR Land!

Quick question ............... how difficult is it to replace the windshield wiper motor on a 69 RR? Any "how to videos" out there that show the procedure? Thanks in advance for any and all responses!

I couldn't find a video. I'll go by memory from way back in time when I worked on them.
1. Disconnect battery cable first
2. Under the dash for most and I'm sure yours, you need to remove the nut from the wiper that connects to the motor arm.
3. Remove the wiper wires under the hood.
4. Remove the nuts holding the motor down. I believe 3 nuts and you should be holding it in your hand.

Thank you and that's what I figured which I was hoping was not the case! I was hoping just removing the three bolts and disconnecting from the fire wall would to the trick! I don't know how I can get behind the dashboard. Can you just reach up there and undo the nut that secures it, or is it a big too do having to remove other components to get up behind there? Thanks!

Yes you could reach up and undo it. The defroster ducts may be in the way but no big deal. If you're up for it. Remove the 3 nuts on the motor and pull it up with one hand. It should expose the nut enough so you could remove the nut that attaches the wiper arm to the motor. If it won't pop upwards enough plan A goes into effect. Video gives an idea of what I'm saying
