My headlights sucks!

Hi everyone!

When I go out with my 74 Fury in the night I always notice the headlights sucks! Is not so much difference between turn on the headlights or run with them turned off. Since I had the car I never change any component from headlights system.

What could be wrong?

First make sure you have 12 Volts at the headlight.. You can get Sylvania superstar type head lamps-direct replacement may help you some. OR a CIBLE ? headlights with a complete modification of the mounting and wiring Or maybe a HID conversion .
Start modifying the headlight system make sure to use a relay for power

I'm going to check the 12 Volts source but all the four headlights works but it doesn't make any difference I can see anything I think this could be a problem of the headlights adjustment

Just because the headlights are on, doesn't mean you are getting all 12 volts, they can still turn on with less voltage. If aiming is the issue, have the front of your car ~20' from a wall and turn them on. You should see four spots and they should all be on the same plain, ~24" off the ground IIRC. At least that is how NH inspection is performed from what I remember.
