No power but battery is working fine
I have a chrysler newport 67. I went to start it and it turned over but needed starting fluid like usual. I used starting fluid and went to start it again. No power to anything. Lights, igniton. Nothing

1....Blown fuse link to bulkhead. This is the fuse wire which comes off the big battery stud on the starter relay and goes to the bulkhead connector
2....Bad connection in bulkhead connector. This is the same terminal in the bulkhead connector that the fuse link above goes to
3....Bad connection at ammeter or bad ammeter. Read the MAD article posted below
4....Failed "welded splice"
(This is a factory splice in the black ammeter wire a few inches from the ammeter. They don't fail often, but they can, and have.)
Here read this, which gives a very good overview of the main power distirbution

Here's a diagram from this article
Follow from the stud on the starter relay, the fuse link goes through the bulkhead connector to the ammeter

Try turning on headlights and watch for them while wiggling the harness in the engine bay in the vicinity of the bulkhead connector. If that doesn't show anything, reach up and do the same thing in the vicinity of the ammeter
Keep your nose and eyes open for smoke and smell.

I'm sure that's where it is. All my other issues are in the bulkhead connections. I'd like to replace all of the but not sure where to start to find replacement parts. I'm an electrician and this is my first old car.
