Removing turn signal switch
Hey I am new here at this forum.
I've some problems with some brake light and turn signal on my Plymouth Volaré. I just bought the car a while ago. After a while driving brake light doen't work. Or the turn signal chanced in to a warning signal, when all four flashing lights start to flash.
I saw some info on the internet that the problem could be lies with the turn signal switch. Now I want to see how the unit would look like and could fix or replace it.
To do this it is needed to remove the steering wheel. To start with, I have to remove the horn pad on the steering wheel. What I could see there are no bold's holding the pad in place. Could you just
pop the button out without breaking the pad?
Thanks in advance!

I have forgotten to report that the problems have been solved! I fixed this months ago.
The turnsignal switch was an immunity, and did not fit neatly into the steering column. Steering column slightly adjusted. Furthermore, the copper switch polished. had to make two tools.
The brake light switch was easy to repair. The internal copper tube that the switch should run against was in fact loose in the housing. This I then glued with locktite, and the setting is now perfect.
