Windshield wipers seem to be activating air conditioning / defroster

The AC / Defrost comes on when we turn on the windshield wipers. They seem to be activating together. We can't turn the AC/Defrost off when the wipers are going!

Any ideas?

like bob said...you will need a wiring diagram to figure out which circuits are touching together.either 2 wires are touching together powering both defrost and wipers.......or wiring buckhead connector has 2 wires fused together.

...not a short but rather two 12V+ wires rubbing together...

...you know what I mean...
