Hi all

Its been over a year since I removed the door lock mechanism on my '66 Dart Vert. Now I cant remember how to fit it back.

Is there supposed to be a small spring connecting the barrel to the door lock mechanism? Or is it just a plain metal wire? Any idea how it should be connected? Pictures would be G R E A TTTT!!!

Im getting frustrated as the car is just about ready but I cant lock the door!

When i twist the key it will only turn one way - so if i lock it manual by pressing the locking **** from the inside, I can then use the key to unlock. But then the key wont turn the other way to LOCK! Help!!

Im sure im missing something here. Help!

Can you get a pic of what you have in there now?

 

Did you remove both sides? If not should the side not be the same but opposite? But I am guessing both sides are off.
