Help removing Six Pack lettering
My car currently has the Six Pack lettering on the painted hood scoop, however, the lettering is going the wrong way (slanting backwards instead of forward). I would like to remove the existing lettering and reapply new lettering going in the correct direction.
Any recommendations on safely removing the lettering without messing up the existing underlying paint/clearcoat.

there are a couple of ays to do this, one is called decal remover, in a spray can.. spray it on let it 'work' (disolves the glue) and with a stiff PLASTIC putty knife/body filler tool work it off, or slightly heat it with a heat gun and with a SHARP single edge razor blade scrape it off. (dontheat it to hot just enough to soften the 'glue' (adhesive). Also they make "buffing" type wheels to remove decals, to use on a BUFFER (lower speed) Grinders turn to fast.
3-M Version, have used this product, does well.
Different Brand, nothing known about this:
"Buffing" type wheel:
Hope this helps and give some guidance. I have seen the first item in parts stores, but def any of your auto body supply stores will have it also.

3-M Stripe off wheel attached to your drill motor. I did my whole car and it never damaged the paint.

Sweet!! Thanks for the recommendations guys!!! Lettering's really annoying me now that I know its on the wrong way. No one else knows which is surprising.

Did you use the wheel alone or do you also use an adhesive remover as a lubricant with the wheel? Just ordered the 3M wheel and some 3M adhesive remover.
