Prostreet interior swap

Hey guys,

I have been saving up for a Challenger for a while and it seems that if you go the pro street route you can get a decent car for less money that was invested. Anybody have a price range of what it would cost to cut out the roll cage, and install a rear seat (I'm told this would be custom)? My guess is that I would have to have someone weld some plates to the frame, in the absence of the roll cage (to prevent body flex). I would not be racing this, just driving around town.

If a car has been back-halved for prostreet or dragstrip is unibody removed and frame rails added that rely on the full cage to give it structural rigidity. A chassis builder can make changes in a cage to accommodate a rear seat.

From the looks of that motor I would run away from it.. I does not give the impression of being a street motor. You would end up rebuilding the drive train for street use..

I thought the same about the engine, this was the first example I came across. Good call about the chassis builder, any ideas on what a back seat would cost to make?
