I'm trying to remove my front seat backs on my 77 Charger in hopes of finding a build sheet. My car is equipped with the 60/40 reclining split bench seat. Has anyone had any luck removing the aluminum moldings that surround the seat back and apparently hide the screws that attach the seat back to the frame. I tried prying on the moldings with a putty knife every which way, but they will not release and I'm concerned about breaking something. Any insights would be appreciated.

 

I'm not sure how to remove the seat backs. I always thought the build sheets were under the back seat. Learn something new everyday.

 

They would NOT be inside the seat backs. Maybe under the rear seat or under the front seat maybe.
The rear seat bottom would have been one of the last things installed
