School me on W200 Crew Interiors/Windows/Floors
78 Crew...was a VANG truck...last guy took the benches out and put in Dakota crap...found period correct F/R benches...need front and rear seat covers, something plain black .mil in appearance...
Also need to rebuild my doors seals and windows...locks work fine, regulators greased and run OK probably better with new inserts, its the window seals and door seals I need...all 4 doors...
Has sheet metal floor right now...decent condition...couple of patches...what do most people do with them? I'd like to sound deaden it and then find the correct rubber mat to cover the floor...is that even possible? Someone suggested Linexing the whole floor to strengthen it and deaden it...
Thanks

Ooooooo, I love your truck! I’ve a ’78 Ramcharger.
As far as almost all the interior stuff, keep your eye on eBay. You can find carpet/rubber kits there on the cheap.
I need to address my doors/windows, too, but haven’t had the time lately. Like yours, they do OKAY but not great.

Capt that's a sharp truck!
I used door seals from newer trucks on my CrewCab got them from the JY
You can get the window seals from ebay but you won't find what the factory calls "division run channel" which is the piece the glass runs in on the vent window/rear stationary glass
You can make this using material from Steele rubber products

Should go a long way towards sealing up that floor while deadening some sound and also stiffening up the sheet metal...here is a pic of the floor now...its been patched a few times and all in all looks sound...that rust you see is very light surface rust from when I hit it with a wire wheel a while back to remove paint...it got wet due to no door seals...need to put it in primer...

I used Monstaliner on the floor, doors, roof and behind the seat, it worked OK, still sounded like I was driving in a steel drum though lol.
And the roof headliner pad didn't help much either, BUT the upside was, it was a breeze to clean out after a weekend of off roading.
I always preferred the 72-76 grills, I was never a fan of the 77-78 grill personally, but the 79 (?) quad lamp looks good to...in fact when I bought my 73 someone had installed a 77-78 grill and I swapped it back to a 72 grill when I had it, I miss that truck...
