I have a 2010 Laramie Edition Dodge Ram 3500 with ventilated (heating and cooling) gray leather front seats. Despite trying my best to keep the seats in good shape and the leather conditioned, the driver's seat is starting have cracks. The driver's side padding has also been pretty poor for a while which seems a common issue when I look around the Internet. Talking to a few dealership makes it seem that the OEM seat 'covers' and pad are no longer easily available. I am look to replace the actual seat leather and not just put a cover over the existing seat. Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with a third party seat covers and padding? It would be optimal to only replace the lower seat but I know it may be tough to match the color with the seat back so may end up replacing both. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

 

There was a company I think its Shark skin that makes replacement covers for vehicles, you might look them up.

 

Thanks for the quick reply! I will take a look and see what I can find. I have seen a sizable number of companies that say the make replacement covers and pads, but was really hoping someone had some experience. It is surprising, to me at least, how much these pads and covers are so am worried about spending $500-$1,000 and end up regretting it. You never know, there may be someone that found a better deal on a great replacement set as well
