1965 Dodge Polara Station Wagon Gas Tank
Hi folks,
New here so if I do something wrong, just bear with me. I am searching for a gas tank for a 1965 Dodge Polara Station Wagon. This is the nine passenger model with a 383. I can find one for the sedan, but I've had no luck with locating a used or aftermarket one. Or if anybody knows of a fabricator that has the specs for one, I'd appreciate the connection.

Hey csherrill2016! If you're still looking, I have a gas tank for a 66 polara wagon. It MIGHT fit a 65 but I don't know. The guy I bought it from (he lives in Washington state) said it would work on the 67 polara wagon I'm working on but he was wrong. The tank fits perfectly in the body but the fuel filler is not correct for a 67. The 67 tank has a standard opening that uses a standard twist on gas cap. This tank has a hole with a rubber gasket, where a separate fuel filler tube goes in. After I sent pictures to Murray Park in Tiffin Ohio (one of the Mopar C-body guru's I have talked to before), he told me all this and that he thought the tank was for a 66 polara. Anyway, the tank has been cleaned and sealed inside, and painted outside (although some paint got scratched off during installing/removing)...
