C-Body Fender Molding clips

This is certainly an oddball. We were at Carlisle last weekend and came up with nothing. It would be nice not to have to fabricate these, but we'll go there if nobody else can help. Please look at the image below. They're from a '66 Sport Fury. We could use about 12-18 of them. Thanks!

In the advent that you can not find the exact clips there are universal ones available that fit any width of trim. They are a rectangular piece of metal that has been scored every 1/8 or 1/16 of an inch and have a 1/4-20 bolt welded in the center. You merely break at the score lines to any width ( or offset width ) slide them onto your trim at the right locations and attach. These are very popular with body shops and are very well made being of fairly heavy gauge galvanized steel or plated, if you wish, so they never rust or drip rust. Check with a local fastener outlet or search online. You can see one here and if you go to their page they might even have what you're looking for:

Wow, that's awesome, Rooty! I can see the ones that you described and they would do the job perfectly. If no other originals are around, we now have a solution.

You have certainly saved the day! Many thanks.
