Dodge Plymouth Chrysler Mopar Flathead 6

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a flathead 6 motor and transmission for a mopar. Preferably something from the 50s but will consider other years. I'm located out in Wichita, KS. Let me know what you got.

Thanks!

flat head motor

I live in phx az and know a guy that has a complete frame, motor in other words the frame is complete, it is from a 50 dodge wayfarer. He does not have a computer so PM me your phone number and I can give it to him. The engine still has the original air cleaner. This is a roller.

yes it is and you could put it on a flat bed because it is complete frame with everthing including the wheels.

I'm actually just looking for the motor. I don't need the whole chassis. Plus I think AZ is little further than I'd like to go to pick one up. I'm looking for one that's somewhat closer to Kansas.

Thanks though

motor

I have no idea what you want the motor for, all I can tell you if you are restoring a car this would be the ideal thing, because you would be getting a ton of extra parts ( that are hard to find ). So good luck on your search you are looking for something that is 60 years old. I only brought this up because if somebody needed parts this was ideal candidate. Like I said good luck.

I don't disagree that the rolling chassis with the motor would be ideal, and if it was closer I'd definetly consider it. Those motors are still out there though. I've seen quite a few around Kansas before I was looking, plus some were just being given away. Just thought I'd see if anyone within a descent driving distance had one they were willing to get rid of.
