For sale is a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Daytona Edition with just under 91,000 miles on it. I bought this truck "used" in 2006 from the dealer with only a few thousand miles on it. I believe the owner of the dealership kept it as his summer driver for one year before selling it to me.
The Daytona edition was only made for one year and was offered in 2 colors. Numbers vary but an estimated 9,000 total Daytona's were produced with only 1,258 being Bright Silver Metallic 4X4 Quad Cabs. Each Daytona has an individual plaque number on the dashboard with this model being #01973.
This particular Daytona has the infamous 5.7L HEMI V-8 paired to an automatic 5 speed transmission with 3.92 gears. Brakes and tires are in excellent condition. The vehicle is all original with the exception of an AEM cold air intake and aftermarket LED taillights. I do have the original taillights, painted taillight covers that all Daytona's came with, and original air intake that will be included with the sale. I removed the large "RAM 1500 4X4" badging as it gave the body a much cleaner look.
All electronics are in working condition. This vehicle has never been smoked in and the interior is in like new condition with included WeatherTech floor mats. The Daytona's came with Borla side exit dual exhaust from the factory.
Overall the body and paint is in great condition with minor rust on the bottom corners of the door jams and bottom part of tailgate (see pictures). The painted plastic trim pieces on the 4 doors has some yellowing sun fade. All of the black trim, including the wing, is in excellent condition with no sun fade whatsoever.
