my car has a sticker " Manufactured for Export" and is coded for export on build sheet as 1 of 10 built for export. My question is what is different on this car from non-export build? The car was built to be shipped to Germany. The only thing I have found is a liters to gallons conversion chart. tHANKS FOR ANY INFO!!

just guessing but the things that might be different. the compression ratio might be lower. it might be missing some smog parts. the filler neck might not have the nozzle restrictor. the carb might be set for a different altitude. diff air - oil cleaner? i have a LOT of chrysler factory service manuals. but have NEVER seen any info on export cars.

There could be a lot of things different, including smog. Depending one what state you want to import it into, it might not matter too much. States like AZ are real ****. Those **** poruzes even want to "smog" cars clear back to 67 which did not ever HAVE smog equipment!!!
There were things different, even here in the states. When I was in the Navy I got stopped twice in CA in one of their infamous roadblocks between 70 and 74. My 70 sixpack RR was NOT a CA car but that didn't stop them!!!! My car never had the evap stuff on the fuel tank but they wrote me up for it anyhow!!! I showed them right in the shop manual that the car never had the vapor can. There were other differences, they didn't care.
