1973 Duster Build Log
Well it's about time I save a Car from a sad future. Paid 400 for the car and and now I'm bringing it back to life.

Well that's it for now I'll yank the transmission tomorrow and clean up the bay and get ready for the transplant(360 with a 727 behind it) and prep for some upgraded electrical.

Hi,
Good luck with your project. I have a 73 Duster that I have been restoring the last several years. On the home stretch now. It's driveable now, but I still have to do the paint and body. Should be another year and I will have enough money to finish her.

The old slant 6 runs perfect. The cold start choke works and it starts right up after sitting for months. The car has less than 75,000 miles on it. We have been looking for a mid 90's 360 with an overdrive transmission. The car would be really cool with overdrive and a fuel injected V8.
