Hi all,
I read somewhere that the rear bumper on a 73 can be replaced with one from a 70 to 72. Is this correct? I need to locate a bumper for my 73 before it goes in for body and paint next year. If a 70 to 72 does fit, this would save a whole lot of time searching.

A '73 was not required to have a 5 mph 'rear' bumper. A '74 was.
So, I'll bet that a '70 thru '73 rear bumper will work.....

 

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that sounds right. haven't seen any 73's around here, but lots earlier. Will have to go hunting when the snow goes...lol...in 5 months.
