To anyone who can kindly assist, I am in search of a Hood Release Cable for my 1973 Plymouth Duster 340.
The inner wire cable is frayed, and it barely works.

I scoped out Doorman, but they do not show a replacement part. Also, I tried the standard auto suppliers but nothing.
Please let me know if you can help.

I don't know of a guaranteed way to repair your existing cable. There are a lot of variables like length, sheath ID, core OD and termination type. If I was going to try and repairing it I'd consider using the core out of a kit and ... but, I don't think it's worth messing with.

However, I did find a NOS (New Old Stock) option on eBay and somehow it's cheaper than the reproduction previously mentioned.
