Replacement Hood Release Cable For '66 Charger

Hey guys, I need to source just a replacement hood release cable for my sled. The stock latch, dash ****, etc. are all fine, only the armored release cable itself is thrashed. Probably a length of generic armored cable would be fine. I'd even spring for flash, chromed cable, but I want to be sure I pick a quality replacement that will be a good drop-in fit.

Classic Industries stocks only a whole cable, latch & **** replacement unit, which is more than I need. Suggestions?

Check... McMaster-Carr, Lawson Products, Grainger,.... Look under cables and see what you can come up with....

Thanks, Racerhog. Various Harley aftermarket part suppliers stock chrome-plated throttle cables that look like they'll fit just fine. Hell, when I pull the old cable it's possible a shot of WD40 down the wire housing might let me re-thread the cable properly. Then I can splice on a length of wire to the broken end and reuse it (for now, anyway).
