73 Plymoth Duster - Project

Hello All, I am new to this forum. I had a 1973 Plymoth Duster - 340 given to me when I was 18 by my Dad. The car has been sitting for 20+ years and now that I am older I have decided to begin the process of getting it running again. This will be a learning experience for me as I have never done this before. I was wondering I anyone had any suggestion How I should begin. I have A Title to the car, but it is still in the sellers name [It has been signed by the seller]. Should my first task be to get the title situated? I decoded the VIN for the car:

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Bloudewedd

Yes you might want to get the car in your name, which state are you in?

I would also recommend getting into your name before putting any funds into it....
Then.... Check all the fluids and make sure they are topped off..... Get a 1 gallon gas can with fresh fuel, and hook that to the fuel tank side of the fuel pump... Put a good known battey in place... And see if it turns over and runs?????
Just the way I would go about it.... Best of luck... Keep us posted... Cheers
