74 dart...whats it worth?
Hi All,
I have a 1974 Dodge Dart 4 door sedan. Original color is green and I just had it repainted professionally with the original color. It has a new headliner, new upholstery, new shocks and new springs in the rear. This car has the slant 6 engine, and only 68,000 original miles! She's in beautiful shape...what do you suppose the value is, and how much could I reasonably get for her? I'm actually selling it for my great grandfather who cant really get around much, and he has said he wants at least $2k for her, is that reasonable?
Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
Where are you located? I would probably pay you 2k for it, which probably means it is worth more.
Someone on the forum will probably have a better figure for you, but pictures would definitely help us gauge the condition.

well with it being said [4 dr] thats gonna affect the value some with all that you have listed being new and redone too it i'd say around 3k to 3,500 now thats not being able to see it though plus it will more than likely hang around alot longer with that price [ i hope its a prettier shade of green ] i say that just because it's a 4dr now if it were me and i was helping pops out i'd try to move it for 2,500 or BEST OFFER but i wouldnt take no less than 2,100 atleast you can make a 100 bucks off of it for trouble of putting up with all of the tire kickers
goodluck and i hope this helps
