Asking for my boss, so I'd better sound smart!
Hi, everyone -
My boss has a 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet convertible he is thinking about selling. He's the second owner. He bought it for himself when he returned from this second tour of duty in Vietnam in 1970. By the way, he retired as a Three Star General....
He needs to know what this car is worth. He has an idea, but has never been part of any forum or car club or anything like that, so I offered to do a little research for him. My husband is a Camaro guy, and not real familiar with the value of this type car. But I know you guys will know!

Those are some really good questions. If I can't get in touch with him this weekend, I will definitely get the answers on Monday and will shoot them back to you. If you think of anything else I need to ask him, just let me know.
Thanks!
Susan
By the way, I hope to change my user name. I just registered today and must have done something really dumb because it picked up my email address instead of the user name I thought I chose... So hopefully, if the administrator Gods are kind to me, you may see my user name change to Yorkie Mama.
Thanks!

Susan,
A 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet V8 Convertible, according to the old Cars price guide is priced as followes:
Rough Shape #5 $3360. / Good Condition #4 $5600. / Very Good #3 $12000.
With your description especially with very high milege I'd #4
Those prices are from past sales that are reported to the people who put together the book, So if there's only a little activity in the model your telling me about, the figures may not be accurate as if 100 cars where sold and this was an average of all of them.
I hope this helps.
