Big block A-body headers

Im building a 1972 Plymouth Duster. It has a 383 and im having some problems finding a set of headers that i can afford. Summit has fenderwells for $530 that ive been looking at for a while now but i hate to spend that much. I found a set last night on summit, there full length so im not sure they will fit. The parts page set a body car but it didnt have my car listed. Can anybody help me out?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BI...ry=Liter%7c6.3

heres the URL to the full lengths i mentioned.

As I understand it, the Headman B-Body headers will work in an A-Body. I'm not sure of the exact part number, but IIRC it's over at bigblockdart.com. I'll keep looking to see if I can find the part number, but I haven't tried it myself...

*****The Hedman part nimber is 78030*****

Go with schumacher headers, great to deal with, bot bad price, beautiful custom design. and made to fit, I just put mine in my 73 duster with 440, they were so damn tight but nothing else would fit, I had to cut the old ones out. Look into them 100% you will not regret them

Again, as I understand it, with the 440, you have to get the special big block A-Body headers. With the smaller B engine, you can use the above mentioned Headman Headers. If I keep my Duster, I'm gonna try that myself.

Go with shumacher headers for the A-body TRUST me, I have a 440. I just put my headers in 1973 duster. The headers went in easier than any other, I tryed using other headers TWICE!! Because I didnt wanna spend the money for shumacher headers they are custom made headers for the 440 in the A body car. I put the headers in with a few wrenched and a engine hoist. Youll need to wiggle the engine around, take your starter off and take plugs out of the drivers side. Trust me man go with shumacher make your life easier

I would check out TTI's long tube headers. Just read the footnotes and even call them with any questions. I run the Schumachers casue I have power steering. With manual steering other headers will work.
