I did that with my Duster. I used the Autometer 1 1/2" mini trio. It turned out ok. I'll try and get a pic for you. I'm going to do something more custom this time arround tho. Probbably an aluminum plate with the 5" Tack and Spedo with the 2"-2 1/2" oil, temp, volt or amp, and fuel. I saw something like it at FOBO.

question: im going to first rip the interior somewhat apart. im putting in a black floor carpet and black headliner since both are missing lol.
do you think i should leave the interior blue? or get black door panels, seat covers, paint whole dash?

mine is all blue in the interior - it looks good two-tone, black doors, seats, headliner, paint some of the dash but leave the trim blue. i did mine gray and blue - ill be changing quite a bit in the upcoming months

why go black? that blue is killer!!! and if you go cheap on the carpet i mean a non molded one you will kick your self in the A$$ and i mean that.. i went cheap in a 73 challenger and even after i sold it i wish i never went that route. keep it blue!!!!! less asprin, but john the G did a awsome job!!!

you cant "fix" rips in seats and have it last more than 6months.. if you want just covers search and search. and dont expect too pay less than 75 bucks for the front seat, with just covers. i learned the hard way....but if you opt for a total skin replacement, its not that hard to do it your self just some automotive grade fabric and hog rings, and hogring pliers. and a hd power sticher...

i found this site that sells complete factory front and rear seats for my car in any color. not really that high of price either..

for those prices, you can score a nice set of late model buckets and redo most of the interior. ive even been thinking about adapting the fold up rear seat assembly from a quad cab ram for the back with the storage underneath

its your car, do with it what you want. We can tell you what you should get, what you should do, where you should get it from. But in the end, its all up to you.
I think it the black and blue is done right, It will look great.
