well you know you want 500 550 hp, 550 shouldnt be to hard to acheive, heads will help alot, port work, bigger valves, how do you want the car as far as drivability? good street manners?

well i'd send the block to machine shop find a good one then tell them what you want and start from there no sense in buying pistons if youre not sure on the motor

IMO you need to decide what you are going to do with this engine... Street, Racing or some of both.... Once you make that decision you know the next step... Find a good motor shop.. Don't know where in Texas you are (when you get back in country) but in the Houston area Diamondback Engines is well known for building stout Mopar engines... Damon is well versed with SS and BB mopars... He will advise you based on what you want to do with the engine... Then you have it exactly as you need and want it to be.... Just another idea.....
