Duster+360+727 torquflite
I have a 1974 Plymouth Duster that originally had a 318c.i. I plan to put a 360 that I got out of a 1976 Cordoba in it. I also have a 727 torqueflite that was bolted up to a 318c.i. that I got out of a 1978 2x4 Dodge truck. Will they bolt up?
Thanks to all!!

Thank you, and no. The only other transmission I have is a bad 727. Wish I had a 904. I have been told that there much better. I think the nex transmission that's going in it is a Richmond 4-speed.
One more question: Do they make a locker for a 74 Duster? It currently has 2.45 gears.
Thanks again !

Remember to use either an appropriate converter for whatever trans you use that was also behind a 360. It will have the correct balance weights on it. The other options would be to buy a converter weight kit from Mopar and weld it on a neutral balanced (318) converter or buy a weighted B&M flexplate for a 360 combo.
Make sure you don't end up with a lock-up converter or trans. Those transmissions have a machined tip at the end of the input shaft.
