duster problems!!!!

so check this out. my car isnt running really good and its leaking from the trans like a sob. i take it in and the carb is shot. they rebuild it from the ground up cause there was stuff bent inside and the primaries werent opening. so apperantly thats good. so they send it over to the tranny shop and they tell me that thr crank has over a 1/4 inch of play fore and aft!!!!!!!! so my buddies at the shop say they may be able to solve the problem with replacing the thrust bearing in the crank case. i really hope so. worst part is im missing all of the car shows and she has been sick for over 2 months..... sorry to vent out but just had to share my sadness.....

thanks guys. luckily the guy said its a forged crank so they can repair it and replace the bearings all in the car. pretty cool there and the problem was in the trans......there is a pressure differential problem that only happens sometimes where the tranny surges the tq converter and wears down on the crank and front pump seal. wierd.... so if you guys get this problem let me know i hve contacts to help you figure it out or fix it.
