New Idler Arm

New Idler Arm

Has anyone seen an idler arm with these foam pads? I'm used to rubber seals, but this Raybestos arm came with these. Not sure where they go, one is thicker than the rest. Not sure about the washers either. The old one did not have them.

Probably a type of a friction ring.

Must be that..... or something else!

The two washers and the thin foam dust seals go on the frame end of the idler before it is installed into the frame. You will probably find that the idler fits loose into the frame? that is what the washers are for
