New to Mopar...69 Dart engine swap question

Hi,

I´m new to Mopar but to not to rebuilding muscle cars. I got a 1969 Dart with a slant 6.
I want to swap the engine to a V-8 (will be using schumaker kits) but my problem is locating the engine.
I live in Panama, thus there are no easily available engines, however there are old 70s cars laying around. I'm pretty sure I can find an early 70's Coronet or similar with a 318. If I do get this donor car, what else could I use from it? Transmission? Rear End? Front disc Brakes? What about the drive shaft? (i guess this one will not work as those are different bodies)
What about a Big Block? Which car should I look for to get a 440?
What about a 360 from a van or truck?

TKS any help will be appreciated!!!

Alot of C-bodies came with 383s and 440s... You get the motor, trans and rear end. Need to change the tailshaft housing, and have the c-body housings cut down with some axles.

Or you get an 8 3/4 Abody housing and your set.

And you'll need a new driveline

Too bad shipping to Panama from Washington would be a killer...I've got a 440, 2 good 400s, one 400 boat anchor, a 360, 340 and two 318's. My GF is not happy about all that either LOL

Agree about Craigslist tho...good source for parts, if you come across the right people. Also, look for any car clubs in your area. They can be a big help.
