Newb: Need help w/ rebuild

Ok so here is the deal. I bought a 73 dart swinger 318. This is going to be my twin boys car when they turn 16. They are 11 now. It's going to be fun learning to wrench with them. I am not very savy as far as rebuilding engines, trannies and so on. I can replace parts easily. I just never tried to do an engine. I have a couple of friends who are going to help with that part.
It has very minor rust, and i am in the process of repairung that. I almost have the whole car stripped.

I need help with removing the rear window trim with out damage. Also the side mouldins are in great shape except for the plastic clips that hold it on. They were so brittle that they all broke. Should I try and find some more clips and use the old molding, or should i grind all the studs flush and use some aftermarket trim?

Here are the before pics.

Humm, you're going to "give" the car to BOTH of them?

That may wind up being more problematic than the engine rebuild.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

hey,
I got an unrelated question. How do you remove center hubs on rally wheels for E body cuda? Wanted to removed wheels, but was not sure if I just pry them off.

Start a new thread in the "E" body section.

Anyways, welcome aboard senior. Good luck with the build. If you're going to do body work and paint, might i suggest finding a 70 dart front end? would look very awesome!

Keep us posted with pics of the progress.

there are three to four 10/24 screws holding centers on from the back of the wheel....remove the wheel from the car and remove the 10/24 screws and your done
