Speaker size

What size speakers fit in the rear deck of a 1968, 2 door, A-body car? It looks like 6x9 speakers will fit in the rear deck of my Valiant but I want to be sure before I go ahead and buy anything.

Measure to be sure but that is what i have used in the past.
