There was also one of the most valuable swingers the 1970 340 Dart swinger. I owned a couple. Very nice cars.

what year swinger you got ? mines a 70 340 darts is pretty much all i've owned since i was 16 mostly 68-73 yrs the swinger started out in 69 and went to the end in 76 with the dart line up it only had the 340 2 yrs 69-70 also other motor choices were 198 /6 , 225 /6 , 273 v8, 318 v8 some 69 swingers had 383 big blocks ive seen 1 440 swinger aswell but those are really rare most of your b.b. were G.T.S 's the 440 swinger was a grand spaulding car [ Mr Norms ] he did alot of stuff to these little beasties back then as for base model line just plain was a dart then dart170 ,dart custom , dart swinger, dart GT , dart GTS 69 was the last year for the 170 and the GTS in 70 your only performance model was the swinger and it could only be had with the 340 the next thing down from it was th GT no 340 was offered with it though mostly 318s and 225s 71 no darts had the 340 anymore only the demon 340 which was dodges version of the duster it could also have /6 and 318 now ive heard of some 71 340 swingers up in canada but havent seen any yet 72 was the last yr for the demon thanks to the over the top church goers 72 your motor choices were pretty much the same as 71 but there was a another v8 but was really offered until 73 and it was a 360 mostly they were in the dart sports [ what dodge renamed the demons in 73 ] but the 360 didnt really come into full swing until mid/ late 73 as the 340 was coming to its end but i have seen acouple darts with a 360 from the factory both were 73s one was a custom and the other was a swinger and they were 4dr cars im thinkin maybe some kind of fleet cars police/taxi/ stuff one was pale cream white and the other was a turd brown met most of your 73 swingers were 225 /6 while the rest were 318s 74 was the same 318s and 225s but more often the 225 grannies just went kookie for them i guess wasnt nothing cooler then finding your next dart project with either a knitted seat cover or finding old recipe cards under the back seat i think the coolest of the grannies had the 2dr v8 versions though well i hope this helps

There is:

Http://www.440tradingpost.com/ <---- Very great website for buying/selling.

1969 and older swingers came with a slant 6, 318, or a 340. They were either a column shift or a 4 speed. And bench seats

I've been searching for some and so far this is my favorite Dodge Dart specific forum: http://dodgedarthq.com/ but it's really for the new dart, not the classic.
