Mopar 727 Transmission w/ Stall Converter

Bought this transmission when I was rebuilding a '74 Dodge Dart. Bought it remanufactured and it has never been put in a car. Great buy for anyone rebuilding an old car. Paid around $1000 for it, asking $700 OBO because it isn't used.

No it's not.
360's are small blocks and anything bigger are big blocks and take a different size bell housing.
Regarding the price: was it built bone stock or with performance parts, and is it a stock (stall) converter?
The price isn't terrible, but again depends on who build it and what's in it. A quick and dirty way of comparing prices is to check eBay and see what rebuilds are SELLING for.
