I bought this for my 440 but it wont fit with the Edelbrock Victor heads. It was never installed and put right back in the box.

Looks more like a 383/400 distributor by the length. That may be why it doesn't fit..

This is a performance distributor that allows you to manually adjust the advance by using lighter weighted springs.

The length of the distributor isn't the problem its the width of the head. My Edelbrock Victor heads dont allow much clearance for this particular distributor. This dizzy fits the 440 in my stock 1971 Dodge Charger, but I'm looking for a performance distributor that will fit the 493 stroker in my 71 Duster with aftermarket victor heads.

This will fit a 440 with stock style heads or Edelbrock performer heads or 440 source stealth heads.
