I'm sure this question has been asked a bunch already but I have not been able to find a straight forward answer. Is it possible to take a 440 from an old motor-home and put into a 1991 D150 2wd? I know anything is possible with enough money and time but is it doable with out spend an outrageous amount of money? What are the major changes that would need to be made? I've always liked mopars but my family has been living and breathing Olds as long as I can remember so while I know a good amount about GM, I do not know a lot about Dodges and what they do differently than GM. So any help would be much appreciated.

I know this thread is old but....

Yes it can be. Transmission cross member, motor mounts, exhaust manifolds or headers and possibly an oil pan is all that you really need. The D and W series trucks came with big block motors back in the 70s.
