Hello, I'm new to the forum so thanks for answering my question. Currently looking at two cars: 2014 300 SRT With moonroof and full leather interior and a 2015 Charger RT base. I love both cars and honestly I'm leaning towards the 300 more. The Charger doesn't have leather seats or a sunroof, where the 300 has. But my issue is the 300 has the 5 speed. Not a bad transmission by any means, but is the 8 speed a deal breaker? I'm pretty sure the 8 speed has a much shorter 1st gear which is better for digs, but theb again the 5 speed is pretty short too and has the 3.09 vs the 2.70 or somewhere around there. Sorry for the long post, just kind of at a loss. I should mention both cars around same price range. Thanks guys and have a good one.

 

I think it comes down to personal preference.

 

Update: Both sold while talking to dealer. Kind of dissapointed. But hey, the true car is out there somewhere.

 

Sorry to hear the deal fell through but to me IMO the deal breaker would have been the SRT inscription. That trumps the transmission dilemma. Keep searching!

 

Thanks brother! Yeah you know what I went ahead and got me a 19 Ram Hemi with 3.92 gears and the Anti-Spin diff, definitely a great choice!
