OK..I could just be a smart azz......But....
Just ask your engine builder.. He knows all the interals and should be your best bet on a good starting point....
Castrol 5W20 and a bottle of STP would be my first suggestion without know anything of your engine....

It makes a huge difference on how the engine is built...Flat tappets take different oil then roller tappets / rockers...If you give only half the picture you will get only half an answer..You say it has a huge cam, what is huge to you may be small to someone else..Most of the guys on here are playing for keeps and not even building street cars..So you need to give more info to get the proper answer...I run rotella T 15w40 in my flat tappet 360 with a 474" lift 280* duration cam. I also add zinc to the oil and change it every 1000 to 1500 miles...Bill

things to look at.
1. RPM range
2. bearing clearances
3 lowest air temp it has to be started at
like you are getting tired of hearing from me. do your research. if you do it like chrysler did it you have same out come. chrysler had some race engines in the late 60s., and most if not ALL had a note saying to NOT run the engine at wide open for more than 15 sec.
