If the spring isn't pushing the contact against the ring on the bottom of the steering wheel, I'm not sure how to fix that. Some how replace the spring? If the turn signal switch is oem, it's worth trying to fix.

There are aftermarket switches available online but, their not that great. I've installed one, I had to make a few modification before I considered it "good".
