tail light gremlins - 75 W200

Been having some recent trouble with tail lights and reverse lights in that they just wont light up, hazards and turn signals work fine. Occasionally my dash guages will all stop working and my heater will stop blowing and turn signals stop working too, but when this happens my tail lights start working.
I'm not great with electrical issues already and this is driving me up the wall.
If anyone happens to know of a good LED tail light kit for these trucks that would be much appreciated too, the stock lights are a bit too dim for my liking.
Thanks!

Turns out the tail lights ground through the tail light housing. Ran a wire around the bulb and screwed it in to a tail light housing nutplate, work fine now.
