Transmission questions.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of transmission might hook up to my current motor. I have a 360 right now and am trying to get some better fuel economy. I believe I have a 3 speed now.
I’m open to any suggestions.
thank you for reading. And any info you might send along.

The old 9-10 MPG is getting to ya?... Not much to gain as per investment and Return on that. Unless you keep it for a long time and do a lot of highway driving...But a 904 with Lock Up may yield a little better Highway MPGs. I don't recall exactly what the components where.... It was over on (For A-Bodys only) in a Duster 318... But if I remember it didn't gain a lot of MPG.

thanks for reaching out.
I do drive a lot on the highway. And I’m really thinking of making the investment.
If I was just driving around town it wouldn’t matter so much. But ya know. Having fun with the money pits!

I went with a Gear Venders overdrive unit. It is a little pricey but, it sure dropped the RPM.
