what is the motor doing?

Whats up in here, where's Chally ? Did everyone go MIA or what.

well right now the motor don't do nothing. I was told to change the water seperator filter but I don't even know what that is, I have no clue how to work on diesels. I also know that there was a fire under the hood about 8 years ago that burned some wiring, but the battery still holds a charge and all the lights and everything else electrical works, even the plow on it. I was told it might not be running becasue the injector pump is shot, which was common on these 6.2 diesels. I am told this is expensive and hard to fix. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys

Thanks man. Well when I still had the keys it cranked over. But the truck is not parked at my house, its at my friends dad's house. I only had 1 set of keys and I foolishly left them in the truck, figuring who the heck would try to steal it. But I come back to my truck on sunday and the keys are magically gone, so now I don't know what to do. I don't even have a title made for the truck because I was going to get it running first, then go get a title because believe me, the $70 title fee is a lot for a 17 year old high school student. But anyway, lets say I do find the keys or just fork out the $$ for a title so i can get new keys. Then what do I do? The truck don't do nothing but crank, but then again I ain't done nothing under the hood. I really am clueless with the diesel. How hard is it to convert to gas? I'll try posting some pics. Thanks.
