I have mostly worked with small block mopar stuff but am wanting to put a big block in my 86 d 150 and am looking for some advise as the best way to go - not looking to build it into a hot rod just a good reliable trailer puller - any advise would be helpful - jaxx

Fontana.... It's called California Speedway..... They run the Nascar 400 there and have a Dragstrip out in the back. Almost where the Original Strip was back in the day.

You should be able to get ahold of it with a pair of needle nose pliers and remove the clip..
This guy no longer has the Clip. But you can see where the clip is out lined on the inner firewall. Just pry it off with a large screw driver or use a pair of needle nose plyers to pull the clip. Some of these you have to use your man muscles...

Dont know how to approach this. The cable will turn but will not give me access to the clip.
this is a 1968 plymouth satellite.
What can you suggest?
