Thanks Bob - Looked up all I could find on that 440 - 220 horse - your right - torq monster - may be way too much for that little RPU - think I will save it and the 727 trans for an A body car - still looking for a slant 6 for the rod - I don't want to twist the thing in half - so thanks for you input - Jaxx

hay bob - jaxx here from tenn. - are you a mopar big block guy? I have mostly worked with small block mopar stuff but am wanting to put a big block in my 86 d 150 and am looking for some advise as the best way to go - not looking to build it into a hot rod just a good reliable trailer puller - any advise would be helpful - jaxx

Fontana.... It's called California Speedway..... They run the Nascar 400 there and have a Dragstrip out in the back. Almost where the Original Strip was back in the day.
Mark Kirby is a long time acquaintance, really nice guy him and his wife. You can find more on YouTube...

This should be what the clip looks like?>>>>> http://www.manciniracing.com/hoffmanadd6.html
You should be able to get ahold of it with a pair of needle nose pliers and remove the clip..
This guy no longer has the Clip. But you can see where the clip is out lined on the inner firewall. Just pry it off with a large screw driver or use a pair of needle nose plyers to pull the clip. Some of these you have to use your man muscles...

If this dont sound rite. Shoot us a photo and we will get you the rite info...

hate to bother you again but i am not able to get to the clip on the inside of firewall
Dont know how to approach this. The cable will turn but will not give me access to the clip.
this is a 1968 plymouth satellite.
    What can you suggest?
No one will answer my question.
Could you send me to a different source. Need to get this out.

    Thanks
