Hello there . Seems like you know lots about slant six . I have a stock / 225 ...a dodge dart 1972 and i wanted to rebuild it and at the same time put some performance inside of it .What will you recommend me ? i appreciate your time and thanks for reading .

I would have thought that 3" pipe would be too much for these motors. I'm just going to keep the motor stock. Think 2.25" would be a good fit for that? I've got a 904 backing it up too.

That's what I thought you would say. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be keeping it stock so no reason to go crazy with it. Thanks.

Did you redo the exhaust system on your dart? Being a slant 6, did you have to have an exhaust shop do it for you or was there a kit out there? I've got some exhaust leaks in my Valiant and am looking for a kit that will go in from the exhaust manifold back. Heck, I'd be happy with even stock pipe.

Thanks for the reply. Your name also came up several times in replies to my other thread. Seems like you know the most about slant sixes. Hope you don't mind if I pick your brain in the near future. I love my slant six and ill never get rid of it. If you find some time please read my "new to mopar forum" under a bodies. It explains some of the things im currently doing to my 225 and some of the things id like to do. Thanks
