    when you pull the heads off, look in the bore
    if there is no ridge at the top the the stroke, the the block has little mileage on it since it was rebuilt

    if you can get the casting numbers off the head, polaradude can tell you exactly what they are
    are you gonna change the cam?

    To clean and paint it. We also suspect a leaking head gasket, so we're replacing them. All the gaskets we've pulled so far were bottom of the line stuff, so we're replacing them with better stuff (copper header gaskets, and I think we're leaning toward felpro multilayed steel gaskets for the heads).
