I recomend getting the body and paint done first, I would take it to the body shop without the engine or interior in it. after the body & paint is done then get the engine rebuilt or if not needed cleaned and painted. then go with carpet and seats.
If the body shop has to have any glass out it will not mess up the interior from sanding dust and overspray
    I hope this helps Ricky

    Hi,
I dont know if I can help much or not, I mostley deal with the Performance Holley"s
But the problem you have sounds like a vacuum leak, to check for this, have it running at what ever speed it will by holding gas down of turning up idle speed, and spray around it with carb cleanner, if you hear a change in RPM this will show where the leak is.
If it is not a leak the other thing it can be is a fuel passage in the idle curcit is blocked up, All you can do to try to fix that is to tqke the carb apart and spray carb cleaner through every hole & passage you see and after that blow air through them too,
    I hope this helps.
Also Holley has a Flow & repair service where you can send it to us.
For price & info on this call toll free @ 866-464-6553 and ask for Ricky
    Thanks Ricky

Hey, I was pointed your way because I have a problem you might be able to help me with. I have a 84' slant six with a 1b Holley 1945. The truck will start but once it warms up it dies or if I'm feeding it fuel the moment I take my foot off the pedal it dies. It has trouble or won't start after it dies. It has vacuum when the engine is cold and hot and the compression in the cylinders is correct. The problems started after a noob rebuilt the carb. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
