1968Polara383

New to this forum and thought it was time I added a few pictures of my car here in the UK. It's a 1968 Polara sedan, 383, 4bbl, 727. Some pics not very good quality but it's a start. The engine pic shows the alternator belt sticking up. This is because the steering pump is out (a work in progress!!). 58k, believed original miles with original interior (except recovered seats). I've waited 40 years for this car. I fell in love with American cars when I was given a Hot Wheels set at Christmas when I was five years old and couldn't stop looking at the small catalogue that came with it. I still have it and I would really like to eventually replace the tyres with a nice set of redlines. Hope to take her to some local shows soon and am saving for the fuel now....we are at around $8 a gallon!
