67 gtx tire size

Anyone tell me what the widest tire you can put on rear of 67 gtx thanks

I'm feel you 67 GTX... my Belvedere has 15x7 Eagle wheels (I think the tires are 245/60r15's on the back) and I'm sure I can crame 8 inch wide wheels in there. Mopar Muscle had an article about measuring your car for how big of wheel and tire you can install. If things go as planned I'm going to get new wheels and tires sometime this summer, just to many projects in the way right now.

I have P 235x60x15 on cop car steel wheels on the rear of mine. I have to drop a shock mount to get them on and off. I could also grind down the inner lip of the rear wheel well and possibly not have to drop the shock, but I am not going to do that.

Sorry I don't have a link, but the article is in the April 2010 magazine. I just got it in the mail this week, starts on page 12 and is titled Stuffin' A Fatty. They show a nice tool called a Wheelrite, still haven't read the full thing.
